The State of Pet Homelessness Index
This Index is the first consistent, methodological measure of pet homelessness by country.
At Mars Petcare, we have an ambition to
End Pet Homelessness.
To better understand the issue, we teamed up with leading animal welfare experts and organizations around the world and together we developed the State of Pet Homelessness Index. This data tool pulls together credible, consistent data to measure the scale of the pet homelessness issue at a country level. The index also helps us understand the problem and the reasons why pets are homeless, by country.
